Ren/Rene

Ren's species, Doxets, are 90% female. They heavily believe females are the Dominant sex, and males of any species cannot compare to the females. This being said Doxet's that give birth to males are considered a disgrace, and are sacrificed to birds as a way of "picking away their sins." The male Doxet that is left behind is then raised to hide their masculinity, behind several different methods. Such has starving to keep a small physique, walking a certain way, and dressing in female clothing. When they hit the adult age, they must take a vow of silence to hide their masculine voice.

Ren is the only Male in his tribe, Having grown up alone and only being fed by the church 4 times a week. Despite being raised as a Female, Ren desired to be more masculine. The only way he felt this is when he joined the warriors guild. There he trained to wield a needle and served to protect his tribe...even if he was hated by them.
